AUGUSTA – Brian A. J. Skehan, 38, passed Tuesday, Jan. 4, 2022, at the Androscoggin Home Care and Hospice in Auburn, following a tragic motorcycle accident in June of 2021. He was born in Augusta, on Aug. 31, 1983 to Crystal L. Collins-Littlefield and Charles J. Skehan.Brian was educated in the Augusta schools and had worked several years in construction and roofing. Brian enjoyed building small engines, restoring and riding snowmobiles and motorcycles for his enjoyment. He was predeceased by his maternal grandparents, Raymond and Lorraine Collins.Brian is survived by his mother and stepfather, Arlan and Crystal L. Collins-Littlefield of Augusta; his father, Charles J. Skehan of Union; his son, Isaiah Matthews of Connecticut; a sister, Nicole Baez of Watervliet, N.Y.; a brother, Joshua Skehan of Alfred; and sister Heather Littlefield of Brunswick; paternal grandfather Jack Skehan; paternal grandmother, Judy Moody and several aunts, uncles, cousins, and many close friends that he called his family. Following cremation, relatives and friends may visit from 10-11 a.m., on Wednesday, Jan. 12, at Plummer Funeral Home, 16 Pleasant St., Augusta where a memorial service will follow at 11 a.m. Burial will be later this spring.Condolences, stories, and photos may be shared at http://www.plummerfh.com.
