Laurette D. Veilleux

AUGUSTA – Laurette D. Veilleux, 78, died unexpectedly Friday, Jan. 14, 2022, at the Alfond Center for Health in Augusta. She was born on Nov. 23, 1943, in Augusta, the daughter of the late Alfred J. and Florence LeClair.

Laurette was predeceased by her husband, Victorin H. Veilleux and sister Yolande Keene.

She is survived by her three sons: Patrick J. Veilleux and wife Pam, Victor A. Veilleux and wife Kim, and youngest son Danny L. Veilleux. Laurette has three surviving sisters: Yvette Waldron, Lorraine Rancourt, and Elizabeth “Dawbet” Villeneuve. Laurette has six grandchildren: Lindsey and husband Shane Preo, Zachary and wife Amanda Veilleux, Sam Snow, Kayla and husband Kyle Flaherty, Kylee Veilleux and fiancé Ryan Allender, Kameron Veilleux and significant other Amanda Kerr. Laurette also has two great-grandchildren: Caleb and Owen, with another on the way.

Laurette was a loving wife and mother, her fondest memories were times spent with her mother and youngest sister Dawbet, and camping with her husband Victorin and their three boys. She truly enjoyed time with her boys and their families, spending time at home in her flower garden, drives with her youngest son Danny, frequenting many a yard sale along the way. Near the end, she would sit and pray to her “Loving Lord” on behalf of her family. Laurette will surely be missed by all who knew and loved her.

There will be no public visiting hours or Funeral Mass. A graveside service will be held in the spring at Holy Family Cemetery in Augusta.

Arrangements have been entrusted to Plummer Funeral Home, 16 Pleasant St., Augusta.
