SKOWGEGAN – It is with extreme sadness that we share the passing of Sebastion Lawrence. Sebby entered the world 21 years ago, a beautiful, sweet, loving soul, and that is exactly how he left it on Jan. 7, 2022.Sebastion was born on Nov. 25, 2000. He was charming, funny, sensitive, and loved to be the center of attention. His crazy storytelling, mischievous smile and easy laugh brought joy to all who loved him. His best times were spent camping, fishing, playing video games and listening to music.Seb shared two beautiful daughters, Alyza and Emersyn Lawrence, with Lexigh Curtis. They were his greatest joy and the reason he fought so hard against the infection that overtook his body but not his spirit.Sebastion is survived by his parents, Dustin and Trudi Lawrence; his brother Myles Lawrence; two sets of grandparents; Timothy and Deborah Lawrence, and Marie Cunningham-Duplisea and Darran Duplisea; aunts and uncles, Travis and Jill McKenney, Toby and Jeszel Lawrence, and Glenn and Dodie Cohen; and his posse of loving cousins, Alex McKenney, Sydnie McKenney, Caleb Lawrence, Cameron Lawrence and Sadie Lanpher; as well as an extended family of great aunts, uncles and honorary cousins who had the privilege of watching him grow. He will be missed more than he could ever imagine.His family would like to express their immense gratitude to the doctors and nurses at Maine Medical Center who took extraordinary measures not only to save Sebastion’s life, but to provide so much care and comfort in his final days.
