Travis Jeremy Frost

AUGUSTA – Travis Jeremy Frost, loving husband of Tammy W. (Levasseur) Frost, died unexpectedly with his wife by his side at the age of 51 at MaineGeneral Medical Center in Augusta due to complications from Covid 19. He was the only child of his parents, Perry and Tina Frost. He was born and raised in Dexter. He was the best son ever.

He attended Dexter Regional High School and then Beal College where he earned his Associates degree in Criminal Justice.

He worked at Dexter Shoe, Skowhegan and Pittsfield Police Departments and served in the U.S. Army Reserves with whom he deployed to Iraq in 2003-2004 as a member of the 94th Military Police Company out of Saco, Maine. However, his dream job was working at Togus Veterans Affairs Medical Center in the Grounds and Transportation Department where he was able to meet veterans from all different wars, whom he considered his heroes

He loved history, however he focused on World War II, his grandfather’s war. As a result, he loved to collect WWII memorabilia and had a vast knowledge of all the equipment used in the various wars.

He was a kindhearted and generous soul who cared about all forms of life. He lived his life with respect, pride, honor, and dignity. He was a man who walked what he talked.

He loved his wife (SOUL MATE) of 8 years very much. He would have laid down his life for her, and he did. I was not ready for this stage of our lives, and I do not know if I will ever be. I do not want to do this life without you, but I am going to have to. I have, do, and will always love you my forever love. I will miss you so much until we meet again.

In addition to his loving wife Tammy, Travis is survived by his fur baby Angel; his mother Tina J. (Paradis) Frost of Dexter; his stepdaughter Jazmine D. Seger of Farmington; his uncle and aunt Doug and Dawn Pratt of Dexter; as well as other extended family.

Travis was predeceased by his father Perry L. Frost Jr of Dexter; his grandfather Arthur Paradis of Norton, Mass. and his grandmother Persis Knowlton-Snowman of Dexter.

You are truly one of the greatest heroes:
