Sheila J. Moody
MADISON – Sheila J. Moody, 75, of Madison, passed away on Nov. 26, 2021 at Maine Medical Center in Portland following a brief illness with her children by her side.
Sheila was born July 29, 1946 in Skowhegan, the daughter of Charles “Mahlon” Turcotte and Doris M. (Belanger) Turcotte. She attended schools in Skowhegan and graduated in 1964.
She retired from the State of Maine Department of Labor, Sheila also bartended at the VFW in Madison; she loved a busy atmosphere surrounded by people.
Sheila enjoyed to be around singing, dancing, laughing and having a good time. She also loved to play cribbage. She was predeceased by both her parents Charles “Mahlon” and Doris M. Turcotte.
She is survived by her children Kimberly J. Moody and partner Nathan Orr, Ronald A. Moody II “Thumpa” and his partner Jessica Davis; a sister Norma McQuarrie and her husband James “Poochi” McQuarrie; grandchildren Dallas Leblanc and her partner Luke Lambert, Haley Orr, Jacey Moody, Mariah Santos and Keegan Santos; great- granddaughter River Lambert; nieces Kelly and her husband Ritchie Putnam, Lori and her husband Dwayne Pullen; and several great and great-great nieces and nephews.
