The Improv Group Capital City Improv plans to perform at 7:30 p.m. Saturday, Jan. 29.  Johnson Hall, 280 Water St. in Gardiner.
Dennis Price, founder of Capital City Improv, studied and performed improvisation in Chicago with The Second City and IO Theater (formerly ImprovOlympic). While performing with IO house team Honeyslide, Dennis watched and worked with some of the best improvisers in Chicago.

Since coming to Maine in 1998, Price has worked as an actor, performer, improviser, teacher, and director. He worked with the Theater at Monmouth for 12 years, and he also was seen at the Penobscot Theater in Bangor and The Public Theater in Lewiston. During the summer, he performs with ImprovAcadia in Bar Harbor.

Capital City Improv brings together some Maine’s finest on-the-spot comedians to create a one of a kind performance, all from the suggestions of the audience.

Masks must be worn into the venue and can be removed once seated.

The performance will be filmed live at Johnson Hall and broadcast over the internet to all who have the ticket link. Each unique link will be sent out through email by 5 p.m. the day of the show to ticket holders. Each ticket purchased covers your household.
