CLINTON, Tenn. – Stephen Scott Bryant of Clinton, Tenn., went home to be with his savior Jesus Christ on Tuesday, Jan. 18, 2022, after a short illness.Steve was born on Dec. 26, 1949, and graduated from Winthrop High School in 1968. He answered his country’s call and served in the U. S. Army in Vietnam 1969-70. He was a skilled carpenter/builder and artist, a good friend to many and loving brother to his 10 siblings.Steve was predeceased by his mother Laina Ojala Huotari; and a brother Ted Bryant Jr. “Rusty”. He is survived by his father Theodore Bryant Sr.; a son; sisters Sally Wallace, Betty Bryant and Marilyn Blanchard, and brothers Tim Bryant, Chris Bryant, David Bryant, Paul Huotari, Mark Huotari and Arne Huotari. A private celebration of his life will be held later this year in Maine.
