We are pleased to endorse the candidacy of Patrick Wynne to represent House District 55, which includes Hallowell, Manchester, and West Gardiner.
Patrick is a Hallowell city councilor, working hard to make Hallowell a good place to live and work. We have been impressed with Patrick’s attention to detail and his quick response to our questions concerning matters before the council.
His public service profession as a firefighter/paramedic has put him on the frontline dealing with the pandemic. He was instrumental in establishing the Hallowell Board of Health in the days before the pandemic exploded, which allowed the city to make science-based decisions in a proactive manner.
Patrick is the father of three and appreciates the quality education provided by RSU 2. He strongly supports the education process moving forward through the pandemic in a thoughtful, science-based manner.
In 2018 he became chair of the Hallowell Democrats and worked hard to elect Democrats to county, school board, and city council positions. Patrick chaired the 2020 Hallowell and Farmingdale Democratic caucuses.
We feel that Patrick has the qualifications needed to represent District 55 during the coming years and hope you do too.
