Humane Society Waterville Area invites the public to make a donation of $5 or more during February for its second annual “From Love to Litter” fundraiser, and watch an ex’s name get placed into cat’s litter boxes at the shelter.

People can participate by stopping by the shelter, mailing a check to 100 Webb Road, Waterville, ME 04901, or calling the shelter at 207-873-2430 to make a donation over the phone.

People can join the shelter live to watch some names be thrown in at 10 a.m. Monday, Feb. 14, on the humane society’s Facebook page.
