BRADENTON, Fla. – Craig D. Conary, 62, formerly of Waterville, Maine, died peacefully on Dec. 16, 2021 at his home in Bradenton Fla. with his girlfriend and family by his side.

Craig had an infectious personality, making friends quickly no matter where he went. Anyone who knew Craig well knew his famous phrases “What’s Happenin” and “Peace Out”.

He settled into a life in Bradenton with his girlfriend Cheryl, taking on the responsibility with her to raising her then 3 year old granddaughter. Craig was the best dad/grandfather to Jayda and she loved him with all her heart. Along with Jayda, Craig’s girlfriend Cheryl, his daughter Cassie, and his two granddaughters Leah and Ellie were the light of his life. His girls. His nephew Mark was more of a brother, talking 2-3 times a day and sharing all of life’s adventures.

One of Craig’s favorite places to be was his place in Greenville, side by siding the trails or hanging out at the Stress Free Moose and Woody’s hanging with great friends. He will be missed by so many.

Craig was predeceased by his father Lionel Conary II, mother Barbara Conary; brother Lionel Conary III; and nephew Ryan Conary.

He is survived by his girlfriend Cheryl Palmer and her granddaughter Jayda of Bradenton; daughter Cassie Conary and his granddaughters Leah and Ellie from Waterville; sister Correne Thibodeau and sons Mark, Chad, and Scott, nieces Stephanie, Jessica and Kaylin all from Bradenton; sister Gretchen Lewis and sons Steven and Sean; sister Shannon Johnson and children, Natalie, Jennifer and Sarah, Jeremaih, Mathew, Franklin and Raymond; brother Peter and children Heather and Adam.

There will be no services at this time. A celebration of life in honor of Craig will be scheduled in Maine at a later date in the spring.
