It is truly disgraceful when partisan interests are put ahead of the good of the people, and now democracy itself. Voting rights is not just a “Black issue.” This will affect everybody. People better pay attention, especially Republicans..

Do these foolish Trumpers actually think they will be further advantaged by taking away peoples’ right to vote? They are rigging it so they won’t need anyone’s vote anymore. Then they will immediately ditch the poor, deluded racists and crazies they’ve cultivated to get votes in favor of the only ones they have ever served: the rich and powerful.

I just called Sen. Susan Collins’ office and urged her to do the right thing for a change, instead of toadying to her corporate masters and Trump. I’m not optimistic.
