WATERVILLE — The Pleasant Street United Methodist Church is scheduled to hold an online auction from Monday, Feb. 7, through Friday, Feb. 18.
Funds raised by the auction will support the church with its charitable community outreach, from the Waterville Homeless Shelter to the Sunday Sandwich Program. Support also goes to the Greater Waterville Food Pantry, located in the church building, and other organizations in the area, according to a news release from the church finance committee.
Due to COVID restrictions the church has chosen this way to raise money for its charitable work.
“Even though we cannot have our traditional annual fundraisers, the need to help the community is still out there, and we feel that this online auction is a great way to do that,” said Dan Beaulieu of the finance committee.
Those interested in participating can go to 32auctions.com/psumc2022, or they can go to 32auctions.com and locate Waterville PSUMC Auction.
The auction will feature items such as a Belgium Grandmother Clock, a handcrafted cherry wood cradle, Celtics sports memorabilia, a mahogany tilt table, framed map prints, and crafts and quilt kits.
