Last week we had a young man who was a good friend come in to have my wife repair a seat cover. On the way out he noticed my driveway which was a sheet of ice.

My wife is 75 and I am 81 and we have been house-bound for 12 days, as trying to put down ice melt would be futile. Yesterday this young man, Paul Everett, came by with a friend and gave me a trash can full of sand along with a spreading shovel. Then they went around and removed some of the snow and spread sand so we had a safe path to the car and to the garage.

This young man has his own IT business and has no spare time but he found some to help us in our need without our asking or even knowing about it. He is a very Good Samaritan and has a special place in our hearts for doing what he did.

Thank you, Paul — and my wife is going out today to get needed supplies to repair your seat cover.
