FAIRFIELD – Sally E. Peters passed away unexpectedly Jan. 28, 2022. She was born on June 13, 1949 in Rockland to John and Margaret Mitchell.

Sally graduated from Warren High School and from Central Beauty School in Augusta. She married her husband Dolan D. Peters of Fairfield in 1969. Together they had three children.

Over the years Sally worked various jobs including The Fairfield Creamery, Laverdieres Hair Fashions, Joseph’s Clothing, and KeSo credit union. She was a devoted and loving wife and mother who had a huge heart and opened her home to others often. She will be sadly missed by her family and friends.

Sally is survived by her husband Dolan; two daughters, Tammy Gidney and husband James, Amy Peters and long time partner Eddie; grandchildren Cody Thibodeau and wife Randa. Brock and Ty Peters, Eddie Deberry, and Ali Peters; great-grandchildren Lincoln and Barrett Thibodeau; a brother John Mitchell, his wife Donna and Sallys neice Heather. Sally was predeceased by her parents, in-laws David and Dora Peters; and by her only son Dale D. Peters in 2014.

Arrangements are under the care of Dan and Scott’s cremation services . There will be no public services per Sally’s wishes.
