ANSON – Alton S. Clark, 83, of Anson, passed away on Friday, Jan. 28, 2022 at Togus V.A. Hospital in Augusta.
He was born on March 20, 1938 in Anson, a son of the late Earlin and Lillian (Vining) Clark. He was educated in the local schools. Following high school he enlisted in the Army Air Corp.
Alton was jack of all trades and spent many years working in the woods, he enjoyed the hard work and being outside with nature.
A graveside service will be held on Tuesday, Feb. 8 at 12 p.m. at the Maine Veteran’s Cemetery, Mount Vernon Road, Augusta.
Arrangements are under the care and direction of Giberson Funeral Home and Cremation Services in Madison and Bingham.
