I am a 75-year-old, retired citizen. When I was young and reading about the Holocaust, I couldn’t imagine how one man could control a country. With lies and propaganda he went to war and killed millions of people. I can’t imagine what it would be like if he succeeded!
I am proud to be an American. I think we have the best country in the World.
And then comes Trump! With his lies and false promises he said that he was going to make America great again. After four years of lies and false promises, he failed to be re-elected. Then came the big lie of a stolen election.
On Jan. 6, 2021, I couldn’t believe what I was watching on television. A real coup, before my very eyes. Trump said the election was stolen from him, and for his people to go down to the Capitol and take our country back. Trump should be in jail for treason. God help us if he is elected again.
It’s time for all the Republicans that believe his lies, to do the right thing for the betterment of America. Our democracy is at stake.
