Roseilla Pinkham

NORTH NEW PORTLAND – Roseilla Pinkham, 103, of North New Portland passed away on March 28, 2022, at her home, in North New Portland.Roseilla was born in Moscow, Maine on Dec. 15, 1918, a daughter of David and Blanch Wacome, and was one of 11 children.She enjoyed and did many things including sewing, knitting, making beads , flower pots and braiding rugs. She helped many people and organizations. She was a Lioness with her husband Ronald Pinkham, she spent many years working the Exhibition Hall at the New Portland Fair, they lived in Lexington for many years before moving to North New Portland. She worked may years doing payroll for the State Of Maine. She belonged to the Lexington Historical Society, a founder of the Lexington Highland Cemetery. She spent many weekends at the Happy Horseshoe Campground helping to serve bean hole bean suppers. She raised seven daughters and a son. She will be missed by all. “We love you.”Mrs. Pinkham was recognized in December by the town of New Portland for being the oldest resident at the age of 103.Roseilla is predeceased by her parents, David and Blanch Wacome, her son Harold who passed at eight months, her husband Ronald Pinkham, two sisters, eight brothers, and five children.Roseilla is survived by three children, Doreen McCarthy, Celia Dow, Ronald Pinkham Jr., Many grandchildren , great grandchildren and great great-grandchildren.There will be visiting hours from noon to one-o’clock om Sunday, April 3, 2022, at Giberson Funeral Home, 40 Maple Street Madison, followed by a service at 1 p.m.Arrangements are under the care and direction of Giberson Funeral Home and Cremation Services in Madison and Bingham, Maine.
