“SexyTime,” a poetry collection that explores themes of consent and intimacy, is scheduled to be read by award-winning poet Lynne Schmidt from 6 to 7 p.m. Monday, April 11, virtually via Zoom.

Afterward, attendees can participate in a conversation led by Bridget McAlonan, prevention education coordinator from the Sexual Assault Prevention and Response Service, according to a news release from Auburn Public Library.

This conversation will explore what consent looks like, and how to communicate boundaries with a partner.

This program is offered in celebration of National Poetry Month and in recognition of National Sexual Assault Prevention and Awareness Month.
