Aime M. Lemieux

WATERVILLE – Aime M. Lemieux, 80, of Waterville died peacefully on April 8, 2022 at Lakewood Continuing Long Care Center, Waterville.

He was born in Ham-Nord, PQ, Canada, on Sept. 10, 1941, the son of Wilfrid and Philomene Dodier.

Aime moved to the Waterville area in the early 1960s and enlisted in the U.S. Army, serving four years in the Vietnam War.

Aime worked for Keyes Fibre and later Hutamaki retiring after over 30 years. Both he and his late wife were communicants of St. John the Baptist Church, Winslow.

He is predeceased, by his wife, Micheline; his brothers and a sister.

His family would like to thank Lakewood Continuing Care Center and Northern Light Hospice for the excellent care they gave to Aime during the last couple of years.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11 a.m., April 20 at St. John the Baptist Church, 26 Monument St., Winslow. Burial will follow in St. Francis Catholic Cemetery, Grove Street, Waterville
