Will you cut back on summer travel because of high gas prices?

Gasoline prices are climbing to $5 a gallon or more at some locations in Maine, meaning it could take $100 or more for some drivers to fill up at the pump.

It’s been the seventh straight week of increasing average gas prices, as the national average rose 26 cents a gallon, to $4.85 a gallon. California had the highest average price at $6.32 a gallon and Georgia the lowest at $4.27 a gallon.

That steep prices are prompting some people to try to cut back on travel or combine trips.

But what do you think? Will you cut back on summer travel because of high gas prices? Let us know what you think the poll and comments below.
