“Music for Mavis” Tuesdays at the Gazebo concert series will launch another season on with a combined set of music featuring Stan Davis beginning at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday, May 10, at the gazebo in Turner.

The evening of music will start with  a solo performance of original songs, storytelling, and reimagined classics by Davis, featuring his songs from his new CD, “All They Know,” telling stories of love, forgiveness, persistence … and housecleaning. This will be followed by a performance by Hurry Down Sunshine – Stan Davis and Brian Kavanah together – presenting a set of classic jazz, blues, and pop tunes featuring Kavanah’s soulful voice and Davis’ cascading guitar playing. Lucky Clark says, their “…  songwriting has spot-on accuracy that touches the heart.”
