Please park on the street, not the sidewalk.
According to Augusta’s city ordinance Article III, “Stopping, Standing and Parking,” subsection 270-26, “Parking to Obstruct Traffic or Block Driveway or Sidewalk,” parking on sidewalks (with or without curbs) is prohibited and a violation: “Such cars may be removed in accordance with the provisions of this article.”
Sidewalks are for people: pedestrians; people in wheelchairs; people who require walker devices. They are not for cars.
Please follow the city ordinance and leave the sidewalks, curbed or curbless, for pedestrians.
