The Rangeley Friends of the Arts’ the eighth annual Western Mountain Photography Show is scheduled for Sept. 10 through Oct. 6. It will be held at the Lakeside Contemporary Art Gallery in the Lobby of the RFA Lakeside Theater, 2493 Main St.

The theme for the exhibit is “Americana,” according to a news release from the arts organization.

Photographers can submit up to three images to earn cash prizes in two categories for the juried exhibit.

During the exhibit, attendees can vote for their favorite image in the People’s Choice competition.

The exhibit awards reception is planned from 5:30 to 7 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 10 at the gallery.

The public event and reception will feature complimentary snacks and a cash bar (beer/wine), where the accepted images will be on display, and the winners will be announced and prizes awarded.
