Local schools must rely on strong, adaptive leaders in order to successfully navigate current social, economic, and public health challenges that affect quality education. Moreover, it is with utmost enthusiasm that I recommend Deb Large to represent Farmingdale on the Regional School Unit 2 school board.

Not only has Deb taught for over 40 years, but she also has an advanced degree in administration, which provides her with a holistic perspective. I knew Deb as a music educator and spent much of my high school days in her classes. I was, and still am, inspired by her expertise, creativity, and overwhelming commitment to students.

As a school board member, I have no doubt that Deb will serve with a similar vigor. During this turbulent time, I am convinced that Deb will be just as dedicated, and provide the spirit that is needed to support and advance K-12 education in the greater community.
