BEREA, Ohio — Julia Cooke of Pittsfield was part of the cast and crew from Baldwin Wallace University that recently staged Arthur Miller’s “The Crucible.”

Cooke, a graduate of Messalonskee High School in Oakland majoring in theater acting and directing, played the part of Sarah Good and served as understudy for Elizabeth Proctor and Rebecca Nurse in the production.

The play was staged under the direction of Rene D. Copeland, assistant professor of directing, during the spring semester.
