NORRIDGEWOCK – Danielle Lee Sterry, passed away at home on May 5, 2022. Danielle was born July 9, 1972 at Redington-Fairview General Hospital in Skowhegan and was the youngest daughter to Daniel Smith of Madison and Dorothy (Young) Hayden of North Anson.

Danielle was a proud mother of Ira Damon IV, wife Nesa, Caleb Estabrook, and Rebekah Sterry; grandmother to Addilyn Webber, Ayanna Damon and Ira Damon V. She is survived by her siblings Sheryl Mellows, Joseph Richards, Debra Osborne and husband Michael, Lisa Meacham and Michael Hayden; her nieces and nephews Matthew Murphy, Shannenn Turcotte and husband Ryan, Kyle Murphy, Manique Richards, Dylan Richards, Markayla Morris and husband John, Bianca Toolin and Anna Meacham.

Danielle was predeceased by both her grandparents Lyman and Lucielle Smith, Gerald and Ruth Young Sr.; and beloved aunt, Lucielle Young.

Danielle graduated from Cony High School in 1990. Danielle loved to do crafts, taking care of her plants, collecting rocks and making friends with everyone she met. Danielle will be deeply missed.

A public celebration of Danielle’s life will be held May 25 at Elks Lodge, 21 Silver St., Skowhegan from 1-4 p.m.
