AUGUSTA — A vehicle struck the Circle K convenience store building on Capitol Street Wednesday, leaving a large hole in the wall.

By Thursday, workers had closed up the hole with temporary plywood and were cleaning up debris at the 183 Capitol St. location.

Augusta police did not immediately have additional details Thursday about the wreck because the crash report wasn’t yet complete.
