MADISON — The Tardiff-Belanger American Legion Post No. 39 and American Legion Auxiliary Unit No. 39 plan to honor fallen veterans on Memorial Day, May 30, at a ceremony with guest speaker Brad Farrin, state senator. All are welcome to attend.
Services are planned for 9 a.m. at the Starks Town Office, 57 Anson Road in Starks; 9:30 a.m. at the veterans monument at Anson Town Office, 21 Kennebec St. in Anson, followed by scattering of flowers off the bridge; 10 a.m. at the Veterans Monument at the Madison Library, 12 Old Point Ave. in Madison; 10:30 a.m. at the U.S./Canadian Monument at Forest Hills Cemetery on Park Street; and at 11 a.m. at the Joseph Quirion Veteran Monument in the center of East Madison.
