I am writing today to voice my approval of Deb Large for the RSU2 Farmingdale school board. I have known Deb for nine years. I’ve known her as a band and chorus teacher, an advisor, a sounding board, and as someone who would always stand up for her students. She always brought so much life and passion into the classroom and fought to make sure that everyone had everything they needed to succeed.

Deb has been a mother, grandmother, and educator, working in numerous school districts and states before settling in Maine and eventually working in Hall-Dale Middle and High School. She is a third-generation educator, with over 40 years of education under her belt, as well as a degree in educational leadership and administration, which would be good to have going into a school board seat.

I have never met anyone as passionate about the well-being of others, and as dedicated to improving our schools. Deb has always been in it for the students. There isn’t anybody I trust more to be on the school board.
