Linda B. Hudson

HARMONY – Linda B. Hudson, 80, passed away peacefully at her home surrounded by family on May 12, 2022.

On Feb. 26, 1942, she was born to Howard and Arrita Annis in Harmony. Linda was raised in Cambridge on the family farm with her two sisters, where her father always had ponies. During high school, her hobbies included dancing and basketball, which she was co-captain and won the championship with her team her senior year.

In 1960 Linda married Herbert “Buddy” Hudson whom she had four beautiful children with and served proudly as a homemaker to her family and had a beautiful home on Route 150.

Once her children were older, she began a real estate career and built Mid-Maine Real Estate which she did until retirement. She loved to play cribbage and bingo, and would often bring her grandchildren along to the bingo hall to show them how it was done. On hot summer days, you could find her floating in the pool with her children and grandchildren, or helping them catch frogs at the pond. She will be greatly missed by her family and friends.

Linda was predeceased by her mother, Arrita Annis, father, Howard Annis; sisters Maxine Hardy and Brenda LaGross; beloved daughter, Laurie Ann Provost, and companion, Bill Long.

She is survived by her daughter, Shelly Wilbur and her husband David Wilbur, her sons Michael Hudson, and Lance Hudson and his partner Anna Curran; her granddaughters Angela Richard and her husband Jake Richard, Jordan Wilbur and her partner Chris Ritter, Brittany Marshall and her husband Corey Marshall, and Taylor Hudson, grandsons Hunter Wilbur and his wife Rachael Wardwell, Justin Cretzler, and Val Nekrosov; great grandchildren Sierra Mitchell, Jake Jr. and Piper Richard, Aubrey, Nora, and Silas Wilbur, Asher, Baxter, and Luna Ritter, and Indie Marshall.

Many thanks to Judy and Tammy from Beacon Hospice.
