HALLOWELL – Pastor Peter “Pete” Inchcombe, 76, of Hallowell, went to be with his Lord and Savior, May 11, 2022.

Born on July 23, 1945 in Jersey, U.K. He was raised in an orphanage until the age of 15. After various employment positions, he attended and graduated from Elim Bible College in Capel, England and later moved to Maine where he pastored The Glorious Gospel Church in Topsham and Hallowell Baptist Church.

For many years, he proudly served with both the Hallowell Fire Department and MaineGeneral Medical Center as chaplain.

Peter was predeceased by his mother, Mabel Frances Hilton Inchcombe, whom he was reunited with years later.

He is survived by his children, Kristinn Paul Inchcombe, Susan Dawn Fedor, Tiffany Fitzpatrick and Dominic Ian Inchcombe; sister, Jean Burr; five grandchildren; nephew, Richard Slous, niece, Karen Jandron; and special friend, Kathy Whitney. He also leaves behind many other close friends and relatives.

Special appreciation goes out to Bert and Carol Glines, Irv and Willi Lash, and the caring staff of the Woodlands of Hallowell and MaineGeneral Medical Center in Augusta.

A celebration of life will be held on Wednesday, June 29 at 1 p.m. at Viles Arboretum in Augusta.
