Dan Shagoury is running for the Maine House of Representatives (District 55). He would be a terrific representative.

I’ve worked with Dan for many years on the board of directors of the nonprofit Hubbard Free Library. Since 2006 he has been dedicated to keeping our very welcoming public library open and wonderfully staffed.

And also repaired. The Hubbard was built in 1880 and is Maine’s oldest public library building. When the Hubbard was built its architect designed it to represent an English county church. Dan and Juliet’s two sons were avid users of the Hubbard and called it “the book church.”
