William “Bill” Turcotte

AUGUSTA – William “Bill” Turcotte of Augusta, passed way Monday, May 23, 2022, at MaineGeneral Medical Center with his family by his side. He was 76 years old. He was born in Augusta on Oct. 30, 1945, the son of Adrian O. and Flora V. (Hill) Turcotte.

Mr. Turcotte was educated in Augusta schools. He was employed by the Augusta Water District for over 35 years retiring in 2010 as a foreman.

Mr. Turcotte spent many days and nights working for the Augusta Water District over the years replacing water pipes that either burst during warm days or replacing frozen pipes in the dead of winter.

Mr. Turcotte enjoyed watching NASCAR races, playing the horses at Fairs and in Lewiston OTB, going to the Beach and having lobster.

Bill will always be remembered for his big kind heart, sparkling eyes and charisma. He will be sadly missed by all of us.

Mr. Turcotte is survived by his wife of 38 years, Suzanne; two daughters Helene and husband Tony Routh III of Randolph, Jennifer and husband Daniel Henderson of E. Winthrop; two grandchildren that he was proud of and loved dearly, Morgan and Gage Henderson; his Goddaughter who he loved dearly, Starr Lemelin; uncles, cousins, and friends.

Per his request there will be no funeral service or visitation.
