She is fondly remembered by her children and many others for making the best pies around (especially lemon meringue) and for her annual production of Christmas candies that she shared widely with friends and family.

Over the years, the farm in Sidney also became the ‘forever’ home of a variety of other animals, such as horses, chickens, geese and the occasional duck and goat. She also loved orchids, lilies, wild rose bushes and hummingbirds.

Sandra loved camping and she and Guy owned many RVs over the years. Nearly every summer, they could be found driving camper, kids, and dogs over most of the eastern US and/or eastern Canada. She and Guy were members of several civic, community and recreational organizations, most notably the Lions Club of Sidney, ME, Red Hat Society, Bath Senior Citizens, and Good Sam’s Club.

Sandra will be remembered for her wry sense of humor, love of her grandchildren and devotion to her dogs.

In retirement, her main hobby was quilting, taking great pride in making quilts for family and friends.
