There were no injuries, Fire Rescue Chief Mike Booker said.

The van was heading south when it left the pavement, throwing the utility vehicle off the trailer. The side-by-side landed upside down.

The broken utility pole brought down power lines, he said. Power to the area was out for over two hours.

Jay Fire Rescue Department closed the road.

Jay police officer Rex Schweighofer responded to the crash. Due to handling other calls afterward, he was not available to provide more details later Tuesday.
