Wander Pizza Co., which has been at its 265 Western Ave. location in Augusta for three years, has announced they are closing this week and the owners are starting their next adventure in southern Maine.

According to a Facebook post, the last day is Friday, June 10. In the post, Wander said sales from their last week will go directly to the staff to help them with the transition.

“We wouldn’t have made it this far without Joe, Shawn, Caylah, Rebekah, Gavin, Sara, Liz, and Anthony,” the post said.

All beer will be on sale for $5 and they will be featuring fan favorite pies throughout the week.

They also plan to sell Wander merchandise and mention if there is any piece of decor that customers might want, to make them an offer.

“We’d like to humbly thank this community for ALL of the support it has given us over the last three years,” the post said. “It has been an amazing adventure. The people we have met, served, worked with will forever hold a special place in our hearts.”
