Many know Deb Large from her incredible legacy that she left when she retired from Hall-Dale High School. Others, as a fierce parent and grandparent whose love knows no bounds.
As a music teacher, she had students for all four years of school, so she understands the struggles and transitions that students go through better than most (even parents sometimes). Students who wanted to attend college, students who wanted to work, who wanted to travel, to start their own business — she listened to us in order to give guidance that worked with our vision of success, not just her own, and that is what she will continue to do for our school board.
She will listen and she will represent what is best for the students regardless of local political agendas and cliques that can so easily lose sight of who and what really matters: our students, our future leaders.
