I live in Waterville, but the Poor Peoples Campaign: A National Call for Moral Revival is a national movement dedicated to overcoming the intertwined evils of systemic poverty, systemic racism, ecological devastation, militarism and the war economy, and the false narratives of white supremacy and Christian nationalism.

In this November’s election I will take the opportunity and (responsibility) to vote for candidates at all levels whose policy platforms come closest to mirroring those so vividly and clearly articulated by the Poor Peoples Campaign.

If you are a candidate who is running for office (or reelection) this November and you are seeking my vote or the votes of any of the millions of others who represent and/or stand in solidarity with the 140 million poor and low wealth people in this country — who have been denied justice for far too long — please familiarize yourself with the Poor Peoples Campaign’s Jubilee Platform. Be sure to let potential voters know you support it whole heartedly and, if elected, will do everything in your power to make its demands a reality.

We are listening carefully. #ForwardTogetherNotOneStepBack #FightPovertyNotThePoor
