In the upcoming primaries, we as voters have a chance to elect a candidate for the house who has a proven record of support for fully funding public education and providing access to quality health care. In my former position as a public school administrator in Hallowell, I know Dan Shagoury to be an honest and energetic worker and an excellent listener deeply committed to public service. I am gratified and encouraged that people of Dan’s caliber are electing to serve the voters of Hallowell, Manchester, and West Gardiner.
