Candy B. Mercier

FARMINGDALE – Candy B. Mercier, 56, of Farmingdale went to be with Jesus unexpectedly Saturday June 4, 2022, at Maine General Medical Center. She was born Jan. 13, 1966.Candy was predeceased by her parents, Roland Mercier and Mabel Breton; and a nephew, Shawn Allen Gerrard.Surviving are her sisters Tammy Kincaid and husband Brian of Chelsea, Robin Gerrard and husband Danal of Whitefield, Tracy Mckenney and husband Mike of Vassalboro; her companion, Tim Freeseha of Farmingdale; her best friends of 44 years Tina Adams and husband Cliff and Cathy May and husband Benjamin; her nieces and nephews Brian, Kellie, Danielle, Ashley, Jason, Sasha, Jesse, Kayla, Cliffy, Scotty, Alysia, Crystal, Ray and TJ; aunts, uncles; cousins; and many great-nieces and nephews.Candy graduated from Cony High School in 1984. She worked for Gardiner Alzheimer’s Center for 19 years, Walmart and Hall Dale Manor.Candy was an angel here on earth, she was good at putting a smile on your face and giving compliments. She loved to spend time and spoil her nieces and nephews and then her great-nieces and nephews and had the pleasure of watching them all grow up. Candy loved to care for others. She is deeply missed but we all know she is happy being with her lord.There will be a celebration of life, Sunday July 10 from 12 to 4 p.m. at the Fusion, Route 32, Windsor.
