He graduated from Skowhegan High School in 1972 and enlisted in the United States Navy, January 1973, serving his country proudly and honorably, as a Digital Communication Equipment Technician. He was discharged in September 1993 with the rank of E7 Chief Petty Officer . He served on the Damato and Saratoga. He was a Navy recruiter for a brief period of time, then served on the Submarine, George C. Marshal . He worked as a short order cook after his retirement for Michael Jordan’s restaurant at Mohegan Sun, Newport Creamery and J.R’s Shack. His greatest joy and happiness was always spending time with family and friends, cooking on the grill, boating, reading (if there was a cat in the house it was on his lap) playing cards, golfing, fishing, watching the Red Sox and Patriots games and storytelling, lots of storytelling. He had a great love of animals. He was predeceased by his parents; grandparents Willie and Annie Dube, Adelard and Elsie LaBreck; nephew, Stephen; aunts, uncles; cousins; and many dear friends. He was deeply loved and will forever be missed.
