Beloved wife of 55 years to David Drapeau. Born March 3, 1943 to Warren “Bud” Hall and Rita Ouellette Hall. Earlene attended Cony High School graduating in 1961. Earlene attended Central Beauty School, graduating in 1963 as a licensed cosmetologist. She owned and operated “Earlene’s Beauty Shop” in Augusta for 40 years. Earlene was an active member of the St. Andrew’s Church Women’s Club in Augusta; she participated in Sunday afternoon craft sessions with the group, helped with church events such as the Christmas Fair, and the annual Sunday Funday and was a weekly collections counter.

Earlene enjoyed day trips to the coast, picnics with her beloved husband, spending time with friends and family, going to the beach, playing the slots and bingo locally and at Foxwoods. She had fun shopping and her favorites were TJ Maxx, Christopher & Banks, and Target. She loved tending to her flower gardens and going out to dinner on Saturday evenings with friends.

Our family home on Murray Street in Augusta was the neighborhood hang-out and she would often make brownies and cookies for all the neighborhood kids.

Earlene is survived by her beloved husband of 55 years, David Drapeau. They were high school sweethearts; they cherished and were devoted to each other; daughters, Laurie Drapeau Carpenter (Scott), Brenda Beeckel (Darren) and Susan Dunn (Tim); grandchildren, Lindsey, Bradley, Megan, Austin, Hannah, Rebekah, and Ainsley; and many beloved nieces and nephews and treasured longtime friends.
