Genevieve “Gee” A. Beaumont

EAST MILLINOCKET – Genevieve “Gee” A. Beaumont, 94, died peacefully on June 22, 2022 in Katahdin Nursing Care facility.

Genevieve was born on July 27, 1927 in Skowhegan, daughter of Leonard and Eva Beaulieu. Genevieve is one of four siblings, Leonard Beaulieu Jr., Joan Paradise, and Willard Beaulieu. Genevieve graduated from Skowhegan High School.

Following graduation, she worked for a local business until her marriage to Delphin J. Beaumont, her beloved husband of 56 years until his passing in 2005. They began their married life in Madison and moved to East Millinocket in 1954. Genevieve was active with the Daughters of Isabella and a member of Saint Peter’s Parish in East Millinocket.

She is survived by daughters Ellen Mclaughlin and husband of Lee, Susan Beaumont of Bangor, Betsy Kingsley of Saco, and sons Donald Beaumont and wife of Cape Elizabeth, David Beaumont of East Millinocket and Richard Beaumont and wife of East Millinocket. Genevieve is survived by 16 grandchildren; and 14 great-grandchildren.

Prior to moving to Katahdin Nursing Care facility, Genevieve was a resident at Sweet Seniors Home in East Millinocket for eight years and was grateful for the wonderful staff and support during her stay. The family would like to express their sincere thanks to the Katahdin nursing care staff for the wonderful care given our mother during her stay there.

A funeral mass will be held at Saint Peter’s parish in East Millinocket on Thursday June 30 at 11 a.m. Interment will be in Madison at a later time. Arrangements are by Lamson Funeral Home, Millinocket. Services will be livestreamed and may be viewed, and messages of condolence expressed, at Genevieve’s Book of Memories at http://www.lamsonfh.com.
