Ruben “Keith” Dodge

MAGNOLIA, Del. – On June 19, 2022 Keith passed away peacefully in his home, surrounded by family. He was diagnosed with ALS in May 2022 and fought a short yet courageous battle.

Keith was born on Feb. 13,1954 in Hobbs, N.M., the son of Ruben and Katherine Dodge. Days after being born he moved to Maine where he grew up in Benton. Losing both his parents at a young age, Keith quickly developed an inner strength and the ability to fight. He did just that throughout his life. He joined the Marines in 1971.

Keith married his wife, Michele, in 1993, and they raised a family in Anson for over 20 years. Keith was a hard worker and loved to spend any free time with his family. Once he retired, they traveled and moved to Florida, Virginia, and most recently Delaware. Keith is known for always being there when needed and would do anything for his family and friends.

Keith is survived by his wife of 29 years, Michele Dodge; his children Mark Dodge and wife Diane Trifiletti of Wilton, Brian Dodge and partner Heather Kennedy of Skowhegan, Brandi Ireland and husband Christopher Ireland of Norridgewock, Aimee Robinson and husband Nicholas Robinson of Norridgewock, Jennifer Therrian and husband Thomas Therrian of Magnolia, Del.; grandchildren Jordan M. Boone, Madison J. Robinson, Mya J. Robinson, Keegan J. Therrian, Lane A. Therrian, Kade C. Ireland, Kaydence P. Wormell, and Evan K. Dodge; sister, Laura Taylor of Albuquerque, N.M.; brothers Jessie Dodge of Oxford, David Dodge of Benton, Steven Dodge of Winslow, Peter Dodge of Madison, and Mark Dodge of Merrimack, N.H.

He was predeceased by his father, Ruben Dodge and mother, Katherine Dodge.

Friends and family may come to celebrate his life on July 9 from 1 to 4 p.m. at T&B’s Celebration Center in Skowhegan.
