AUGUSTA – Phillip E. Botts, 65, of Cony Street, died July 2, 2022, at Alfond Center for Health after a brief illness.

He was born in Frankfurt, Indiana, on May 9, 1957, the son of Douglas and Naomi (Panaire) Botts.

Phill moved to Maine in 1999.

He is survived by his wife, Lorna J. (Brann) Botts of Augusta; three daughters: Amy (Kris) , Tammy (Dana) and Alison; his mother and stepfather, Naomi and Robert Buchannan of Hendersonville, Tenn.; his stepmother, Jeanne Warren Botts of California; father-in-law, Richard C. Brann of Augusta; one sister, Tonya (Leonard) of Tennessee; a half sister, Melissa (John) of California; very special grandchildren: Justin (Mandy), Katie (Andrew) Austin (Victoria), Jessica (Vinnie) Shae-Lynne, Jayden; especially fond of his great-grandchildren: AndaLynne, Callum, Joseph and another baby due in January. Also, several brother and sisters-in-law, aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins and family friend Betsey Turner.

There are no planned visiting hours. A memorial gathering will be held at a later date.

Arrangements have been entrusted to Plummer Funeral Home, 16 Pleasant St., Augusta.
