HARTLAND – Judith A. Batchelder, 75, died on July 5, 2022, surrounded by her loving family at her home in Hartland.

Judy was born on Aug. 31, 1946, in Dexter, Maine, the daughter of the late Clifford and Sylvia Clukey. She graduated from Dexter High School with the class of 1964. She was employed for 27 years at Dexter Shoe then became an Ed Tech for the Waterville School District. This was a position that she really liked.

Judy enjoyed being at home with her family. She liked country music shows and absolutely loved to dance. She also liked to hang out at her husband’s Pawn Shop in Skowhegan.

She is survived by her loving husband, Thomas Batchelder Sr of Hartland; sons, Roger Berube and Ryan Norton; stepchildren: Tammy Wyman, Marci Thomas and husband Joe, Thomas Batchelder Jr and wife Heidi, and Ann Tibbetts and husband Shannon; many grandchildren and great grandchildren; brother, Roger Clukey; nieces and nephews; and her beloved 14-year-old Pomeranian, Samson.

She was predeceased by her parents; her brother, Robert Clukey; and her beloved cat. Molly.

Her husband would like to give special thanks to his three daughters, Tammy, Marci, and Ann, plus the hospice staff for all of their generous help.

A graveside service will be held at 11 a.m., Saturday, July 30, 2022, at the Palmyra Village Cemetery, Warren Hill Road, Palmyra.
