Yvette L. Labranche

AUGUSTA – Mrs. Yvette L. Labranche passed away peacefully in her home with her children by her side on Monday, July 4, 2022. She was a daughter of Joseph L. and Laura P. (Tanguay) Bernier and was predeceased by her husband, Leo Paul Labranche, and by 17 brothers and sisters.

She leaves behind 10 children: Aline Smith (Larry), Julien Labranche, Claire Maurset (Rolf), Emile Labranche, Cecile Sprout, Rene Labranche, Anita Record (Richard), Therese Poulin (Jim), Doris Labranche (Richard), and Lousie Bonenfant (who was predeceased by her husband Kevin); 14 grandchildren, and seven great-grandchildren.

The family would like to express its thanks to Dr. Michael Szela for his 35-plus years of care, the nursing staff at MaineGeneral, Delta and Augusta Paramedics, hospice for their comfort and support, and John Lachance (grandson) and Vickie Glazier for their assistance.

She was a lifelong communicant of St. Augustine’s Catholic Church in Augusta.

There are no planned visiting hours. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Monday, July 11, 2022, at 9 a.m., at St. Augustine Catholic Church, 75 Northern Ave., Augusta, Maine. Burial will follow at Holy Family Catholic Cemetery. Arrangements have been entrusted to Plummer Funeral Home, 16 Pleasant St., Augusta, Maine 04330.
