Hello to all the wonderful citizens of Maine.

Maine has positioned itself as a landlocked state controlled by New Hampshire, which has a tremendous financial advantage over Maine.

1) No sales tax: This 5.5% advantage has decimated businesses in Maine, Vermont and Massachusetts. Believe it! Mainers drive to New Hampshire to save 5%.

2) People live in New Hampshire because it has a flat income tax of only 5%.

The best way to level the playing field is to eliminate the state income tax of about 8.5.% plus lower income tax for people and corporations.

Maine is on the edge over becoming one of the most desirable states to live if it were to eliminate income tax and have a 5% advantage for people and businesses to move to Maine.

I am ignorant to political and exact numbers of all the losses Mainers endure, but the people that we have learned from in Maine, New Hampshire, Vermont and Massachusetts all say Maine is crippled by New Hampshire.

Maine has people unlike any other state. All we need is a change in taxation.
