The U.S. Supreme Court recently over-turned Roe v. Wade, removing federal protection of abortion. Their reason: to protect the unborn. They say, in the thousands.

Yet within days of that decision, the Court ruled that the EPA is stripped of its authority to reduce pollution, a major cause of climate change. As a result, those polluting the environment (increasing the effects of climate change) will be able to continue to increase the effects of climate change.

In doing this, the Supreme Court ensures that as our climate becomes more unfriendly to survival, the unborn (and the living-breathing born) will be dying. Already some of the poorer nations are suffering the deadly effects of climate change. They are beset by vicious storms, loss of crops and the deadly fighting over ever-increasing shortages of resources.

Knowing these things, it is difficult to believe that the Supreme Court really cares about human life. Shame on them.
