Rose Marie Frigon

BINGHAM – Rose Marie Frigon, 92, of Bingham, passed away on July 3, 2022, at Redington Fairview General Hospital. She was predeceased by her husband, William A. Frigon on Jan. 8, 2020.

She was born in West Warwick, Rhode Island on March 25, 1930, to Joseph and Madonna Parenteau. She grew up in West Warwick, attended West Warwick Schools and graduated from West Warwick High School.

She married William A. “Bill” Frigon in 1950, and they raised three children, one girl and two boys. They moved to Maine in July of 1969 and bought a resort on Wyman Lake. She and Bill ran the business for 18 years, she then worked at Bingham Motor Inn for 20 years.

In Rhode Island, she was a violin player, playing in concerts, school orchestras, and weddings. She was a bookeeper for all her husbands businesses, and was a communicant at St. Peters Church in Bingham, Christ the King Parish. She and her husband resided in Concord for 30 years, raising blueberries and bees of which they sold the products. She also enjoyed square dancing and spending the winter in Florida.

She is survived by her daughter, Paulette M. Wardwell of Bucksport, her two sons, Dennis W. Frigon and his wife Cindy of Rockwood, Brian N. Frigon and his wife Monika of Moscow; 10 grandchildren, Mark Wardwell and his wife Shannon, Paul Wardwell of Bucksport, Gregory Wardwell and his wife Shannon stationed in Germany, and Nicholas Wardwell of Asheville, N.C., Jereme Frigon and his wife Donna of Jackman, Joel Frigon and his wife Jessica of Dover Foxcroft, Jarod Frigon and his wife Cayce of Kingfield, Alaina Cates and her husband Chad of Greenville, Quentin Frigon and Mikaela Frigon and partner, Devin Beane of Bingham, 13 great-grandchildren and one great-stepgrandson, and several nieces and great nieces and nephews in Rhode Island, and Jackman, Maine.

A funeral mass will be held on August 6, 2022 at 10 a.m., at St. Peter’s Catholic Church in Bingham, burial will follow in Robinson Memorial Cemetery in Moscow. Everyone is invited to join the family at North Country (Patrick’s Pub ) following the burial.
